Visceral surgery includes surgery of the abdominal cavity and abdominal wall, the endocrine glands and soft tissue. The treating surgeon is usually tied to a hospital in order to carry out his work. Problems and questions outside the hospital are often only possible with a new presentation.
This is where we are breaking new ground with our practice. We can accompany the patient from the initial contact through diagnostics and therapy to aftercare. In close cooperation with the InnKlinikum Altötting and Mühldorf, we can serve as an interface between general practitioners and inpatient care to enable comprehensive patient care.
A subspecialization is necessary for quality assurance in the broad field of various diseases of visceral surgery. In addition to basic general and visceral surgical care, as a specialist practice we treat diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract as well as diseases of the rectum and sphincter apparatus and can discuss and carry out individual treatment with patients in accordance with current guidelines.
We can also offer you a vascular surgery consultation and a special consultation for chronic wounds.
