Chirotherapy
Manual medicine is a gentle treatment method within conservative medicine. It is primarily used for musculoskeletal complaints, such as functional disorders of joints, muscles or the spine. The aim is to alleviate pain and restore mobility – without any surgical intervention or medication.
Diagnostics and therapy are carried out exclusively with the hands. Specially trained doctors use specific hand movements to release blockages and support the body’s natural function. Manual medicine is based on techniques from chiropractic and osteopathy, among others.
Manual therapy also plays an important role in physiotherapy and is an integral part of training. Additional qualifications allow therapists to deepen their knowledge in this area.
