Internal medicine and general medicine is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases of the internal organs. These include:
- General practitioner care
- Supervision of four retirement and nursing homes
- Carrying out home visits
- Ultrasound of the abdomen, thyroid gland and blood vessels
- Wound care and dressings
- ECG and laboratory tests
- Emergency medicine
- Basic psychosomatic care
- Pre- and post-operative care
- Examinations in accordance with the Youth Employment Protection Act (before entering working life)
Laboratory services
Emergency laboratory services are provided immediately. All other necessary analyses can be carried out on working days via a laboratory consortium. Most of the findings are available on the same evening via encrypted remote data transmission.
