Visceral surgery

Visceral surgery encompasses surgery of the abdominal cavity and abdominal wall, the endocrine glands, and the soft tissues. The treating surgeon is usually tied to a hospital for the practice of his or her profession. Addressing problems and questions outside the hospital often requires a follow-up visit. This is where our practice is breaking new ground. We can support patients from the initial consultation through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. In close collaboration with the InnKlinikum Altötting and Mühldorf, we serve as a bridge between primary care and inpatient care, thereby enabling comprehensive patient care.

A subspecialization is necessary for quality assurance in the broad field of various diseases of visceral surgery.

At the Altötting site, we also offer specialist consultation hours for diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract and diseases of the rectum and sphincter apparatus and can discuss and carry out individual treatment with patients in accordance with the applicable guidelines.
